College Driver Education Course

Open registration starts August 26th. Fall Term begins September 21.

DRIVER TRAINING SCHOOL INSTRUCTOR CLASSES. One of the requirements to be licensed as a driver training school instructor in Indiana is to complete nine college credit hours of approved driver education courses. Contact the following university to complete the instructor training requirement. Indiana State University Dr. The 36-hour Driver Education Program is for beginning drivers who wish to obtain a Maryland Class C Driver’s License. Program Features. Students learn from professional, Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA) certified instructors who patiently and courteously coach the new driver. Schedules are flexible and include day and evening classes.

Register early to secure your spot, space is limited.

LBCC has over 25 years of experience teaching Driver Education in the Linn and Benton counties. Courses are approved by the Oregon Department of Transportation-Traffic Safety Division and utilize their curriculum.

Possible waiver of DMV Behind-the-Wheel drive test- Specific requirements must be met in order to qualify and will be presented during the parent/student orientation. Note: students over the age of 18 do not qualify.

State of Oregon has the following mandatory requirements:

30 hours of classroom instruction
3-hourrequiredparent/student orientation
12 hours on the road; 6 hours behind-the-wheel and 6 hours of active observation
5 hours minimum of documented supervised driving practice. Supervised driving must be by someone at least 21 years of age, with a valid driver license for at least three years.

This class will help you be successful and safer while you complete the 100 hours of practice time with your student (50 hours if they complete Driver Education). Driver Education Theory Course Taught in Nine Days!

Our driver education course offers:

18 hours of classroom instruction or 30 hours of home study (online) instruction
6 hours of behind the wheel instruction/6 hours of observation
Students arrange personal in-car driving schedule with the instructor
Classroom instruction for the theory course is 18 hours (nine days)*
Courses begin every other week
If you decide to take the home study course you will not be able to pick up the workbooks until the start date.

NOTE: If you are 19 years old or older, you are not required to complete driver education to get your driver license.
Check with the Driver License Division for more information.

If you need supplemental driving only, contact Vance Chadaz at 801-627-8347 between 3-5pm, Monday –Friday.

Time:
5:00-7:00

Classes start every other week,
see Registration for next available date.

Cost:

$ 285.00 for classroom instruction and road driving

$ 300.00 for home study (online) course and road driving

Suffolk County Community College Driver's Education Course

$ 240.00 for driver portion of high school online course

$ 160.00 for four-hour supplemental driving time

Driver Education Course Oregon

$ 240.00 for six-hour supplemental driving time

*The time frame required to complete the course of instruction is based on scheduled driving and observation time at the convenience of the student and the availability of instructors and equipment. The number of students in the class is another determining factor. No guarantee can be offered as to a minimum time required to complete the course.

Registration Instructions

Students must be at least 15 years old to register.
Attach a copy of learner permit with registration.
If you do not yet have a learner permit, you will need to attach your birth certificate.
When using the online form, students will need to check available dates by opening the application scroll down to Instruction types.
Instruction Type: select (Classroom Instruction) or (Home Study Online course) once a student has done this they will need to click on Select Class Start Date:
